Q: How long will my repair take?
A: The average turn around time for most repairs is 1 to 3 days, unless a repair will require a replacement part that we don’t have on hand.
Q: How much will my repair Cost?
A:The cost of your repair will depend largely on the complexity of the problem. Look HERE for prices on common repairs. We will always call to confirm you are OK with any extra costs before we continue.
Q: What do I need to bring in with my computer to have it Fixed?
A: If the computer is a desktop, all I need is the tower. I do not need the power cable,mouse, keyboard etc. If it is a laptop computer I need the laptop and the AC adapter.
Q: When my computer is running I hear clicking sounds and sometimes lock’s up on me. What’s happening?
A: A clicking sound and lockups are signs of physical failure of the hard drive. If you don’t have your files backed up, try to do that immediately, since the hard drive may fail completely. If the hard drive fails completely, your files are lost, without costly recovery.
Q: Do you support products that weren’t purchased from you?
A: Yes. We support products that were purchased from other manufactures or businesses.
Q:Is it cheaper to repair my computer or buy a new computer?
A: This really depends on how old your computer is and also what is wrong with your computer. Sometimes it is actually cheaper to purchase a new one.
Q: I have a (brand name/non-brand name) computer. Can you fix it?
A: We will work on any brand computer as long as it has a Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Q: What happens if I decide it will cost too much to repair the PC?
A: If we diagnosis your PC and explain you the course of action needed to repair it and you feel the cost will be too high, you will only be required to pay the diagnostics fee.
Q: Do you need my Passwords?
A: We will need your Login and Administrator passwords in order to access your computer. Email passwords may be required for repair and can be obtained later where required.
Q: What about my files, documents,pictures etc? Will I lose all of my information?
A: We make every effort to preserve the data on your hard drive; however, we cannot guarantee your data. You should back up your data, if possible, or we wll be glad to assist you.
Q: Will you ever do unauthorized work?
A: We will never work on anything that is not authorized by the you. If we cannot get in contact with you, we will place the repair on hold and wait for your response.
Q: Do you work on Macs?
A: At this time, we do not.
Q: What if I have questions after my computer is repaired?
A: We will gladly answer you’re concerns and questions after a repair is completed. Our goal is your satisfaction.
